Created in the late 1920s, man polo has become over time an essential fashion accessory. Originally, the man polo was intended for the sole use of athletes, especially the Tennismans. After the tennismans, it is the rugbymans who have adopted the polo man as held: these are then striped polo shirts, also called rugby polo shirts. Then the polo became democratic until it was found in all the wardrobes. Men's polo is traditionally designed in a quilted cotton knit, but today we find all kinds of polo shirts. All major brands now have their own line of men's polo shirts and even women's polo shirts.
