Online payments by bank card are carried out via the ELYSNET online payment system of our banking partner HSBC.
When you make a purchase on Webmenshirts.com, the entire payment process is in a closed circuit between HSBC and yourself via the ELYSNET payment system.
When you are on the Payment page, you are no longer on Webmenshirts.com – you are redirected to the ELYSNET online payment system website of HSBC. This guarantees that :
- Webmenshirts never has access to your bank card number.
- HSBC cannot know the details of your purchases, as only the total amount due and the order number are transmitted to Elysnet by Webmenshirts.com.
What information is necessary in order to use HSBC Elysnet
On the Elysnet website, you will be asked to provide:
Your bank card number (16 digits);
The expiration date of your bank card;
The cryptogramme number on the back side of the card is encrypted and completely secure
How secure is Elysnet ?
ELYSNET uses a standard encryption system, all of your data is encrypted in SSL 128 bits. When you are on the payment page:
there will be a pictogram at the bottom of your browser: one of these symbols must be present.
In the address bar of your browser, your browser is in HTTPS://" mode instead of "HTTP://". When you go from an unencrypted mode to an encrypted mode (or vice-versa), recent browsers let you know that you have changed modes.
To guarantee security, be sure to verify the above elements before typing in any confidential data. In order to use the more powerful protocols, we recommend that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer from 5.0 onwards or Netscape Communicator from 4.0 onwards.
Your bank card number circulates only between your PC and the bank’s payment server, in encrypted mode (SSL); WEBMENSHIRTS has absolutely no access to this data.
